If we only could've predicted how much this leap year 2020 was going to go things may have been very different.
Even back in February everything seemed to be smoothing itself out. If only we knew.
One probably should be calling it a day and hibernating until 2021.
Put up the Christmas tree and call it a year right?
Guess what my fiance (more on that update later) are doing instead of putting the Christmas tree up (Mind you Christmas can be all year if you're Christmas obsessed like me)?
Planned an engagement party (pre COVID-19 in Aus) and holiday(fail) and and AND! planning a wedding all in 2020 *queue manical laughter*
You read right.
Whole world going to shit slowly. Hosted our Engagement party Feb 29th. Planned Wedding for Dec 5th. Who the fuck predicted the world to self combust?! We certainly didn't!
Being that we are still almost 4 months away with so much that can change since then we are adjusting at every point.
A pandemic we can endure.
Yes a whole world pandemic is pretty daunting. Everyone needs to do their bit. Can we control this? No.
Is this the worst we've endured. Not in the slightest. So yes we are slightly mad, slightly odd and an enormous endless amount of love. Are things going to be normal in 2 days or 3 months? Who the fuck knows?!
What we do know is that we are as strong as ever. That's the greatest thing about us.
2020. What a time. Stay safe. Stay well. Stay the fuck home if you are incapable of social distancing and not spreading germs. If you have to go out mask up! Also don't panic buy toilet paper that's just a shit thing to do ;)
