Life Lessons

"Sometimes the right path, isn't the easiest" -Grandmother Willow

If only life's path was a little more visual.
To actively see where you are in the scheme of things, to see the road ahead, to veer sideways to approaching obstacles.
You could view the length of the life trials before they reach you, giving you enough time to prepare.

Instead our paths are hidden from view with only the universe truly knowing what's to come and how well you'll learn.

If you're one of the lucky ones that know of most of their path and how you'll reach it- congratulations. Its rare to have that kind of insight.
The rest of us who are cut off from our path view are lost to the universes and all its power.

What if we could come to a point on the road or path we could stop and look at the million different path signs, decide which ones were less maddening (yes Lewis Carroll you put that idea in my head that everyone's mad) and head down a path more suited.

We might choose a different way to go, a different rabbit to follow.
Sometimes life feels like you're racing around a giant roundabout and theres no exit.
Others the Rollercoaster is getting pretty irritating but theres no sign it'll stop soon.

So what then universe?

People remark with this:
Choose one to follow:
Head?
Or
Heart?

But then the realisation from the universe says that you're not very good at using either to guide your path.
Back in the same place you started. But in truth you never left.

Which do you decide on then? Which has hurt you most? Do you trust science or do you trust a higher power?

"Don't think. It complicates things. Just feel, and if it feels like home, then follow its path." -R.M Drake

How long should it take to fix whatever is going wrong? How long it takes to realise sometimes on your own doesn't always work out the way you want it to.

"Only trust someone can see these three things about you:
1. The sadness behind your smile.
2. The love behind your anger.
3. The reason behind your silence.
That way you know someone understands you." -Unknown

Well done to those who are on the right path to success, to live, to dream, to love. Its very rare you find someone actually heading in the direction of their choice, no cracks in the pavement, no roots to trip on just smooth sailing.
Is the path that you are on smooth and clear?
How many times have you got left falling face first into the dirt before your path shifts to an easier view?

Paths were meant to be there as a universal guide they could shift at any given moment and people would just except it as a way of life.
The bruises are starting to appear in your soul. Are you prepared?
To explain and to understand are two in the same. Excruciatingly difficult.

To acknowledge the idea (or oblivion) is one thing. To speak clearly enough to help another person, family member or friends that have become your family fully grasp what's inside your head or rolling around in your heart and its worrying you enough to try and reach out. Hopefully someone will listen and stand with you, hopefully they won't judge or ignore is another.

To actively speak to your person about things you've been noticing more and more about changes in them, maybe they aren't as happy anymore, no ones heard from them in a while, did something more happen than you are aware of? Will your person admit to what you are thinking or have become concerned about, or be dismissive and defensive?

Are you worrying about nothing? Can you wade it out a little longer to see if it passes? Complete strangers may not grasp what's really going on, why bother anyone?

Maybe the path you are on can be changed. The outlook being far more sunnier than you've ever imagined. You above all else have the power to change your story.
You have the power to say your story isn't over yet. It isn't they way its going to end. Sometimes accepting is the first step, or sometimes its the 8th or the 12th or the 100th step. Please don't ignore the oblivion.

"Sometimes you try your hardest but things don't turn out the way you want them to.
Sometimes things have to change, and maybe sometimes for the better." -Nani
